Warm up the Holidays with Keystone’s Heating Cost Guarantee

Once your client finds the perfect home this holiday season, it’s time to give them a house warming gift! With Keystone’s $490 Heating Cost Guarantee, your clients will have chestnuts roasting by an open fire in no time.

Keystone is dedicated to building energy-efficient homes that will help clients save thousands. In fact, Keystone guarantees the cost to heat your client’s new home will not exceed $490 per year for the first two years of homeownership. That is a savings up to $1,500 a year.

PA Realtors love the savings from these Energy/Plus homes. In fact, clients can save $25,000 that can be used towards any extra options they would want to add to their home. A gourmet kitchen with tile floors and granite countertop to a relaxing sunroom, or even both, are just some ways your client can take advantage of these great savings.

Compared to a used home, the difference with a Keystone home is the Low Emittance coated windows to reflect heat and block the harmful UV light. The exterior doors are also insulated to keep out the cold and a “Super Seal” method is used to seal wooden joints and block drafts. In an effort to minimize heating costs, water heaters, roof trusses and ductwork are also inspected.

For more information about how your client can qualify for a Keystone Heating Guarantee, visit www.KeystoneCustomHome.com.

*Only available on homes serviced by natural gas. Not available on homes which use a heating source other than natural gas (electric heat pump, propane, etc). The guarantee is based on the actual costs to heat the home and so the average non-heating costs per month will be eliminated from the total costs per year to determine the actual costs to heat. Homeowner must collect 12 months of gas bills and determine the average cost per month for their gas bills between May and September. This monthly average cost will be used to determine non-heating costs (i.e. cooking, water heater, etc) and will be deducted from the total for the 12 months of expenses. Should the homeowner’s annual heating bill exceed $490, they are to submit their calculations and copies of their bills to: [email protected] for review. If the costs exceed the guarantee, Keystone will send a check to the homeowner for the amount that exceeded the guaranteed amount. Some restrictions apply. See New Home Advisor for complete details.
