2014 Starts with Stronger Housing Market

York new homesAt Keystone Custom Homes, we are so excited for 2014. We know it’s going to be a great year full of providing our buyers with their dream homes. Before we move forward, let’s take a quick look back at the 2013 housing industry.

According to the National Housing Trend Report just released by Realtor.com, home prices and housing demand in 2013 closed stronger compared to 2012. The report also shows that the median list price was 8.1 percent higher, the median age of inventory was down by 5.1 percent and the number of units for sale was unchanged. These are all positive signs of a stronger market.

A strong market will make it easier to buy a new home from us. With over 44 communities, we have the perfect one for you and your family. For instance, our York new homes at Addington Reserve are selling fast. Priced from the $190,000s, the community is in a quiet setting yet is in the heart of York County and close to all conveniences. Homes are minutes from Routes 83 and 30, the Susquehanna Trail, shopping, health services, fine dining, theaters, museums and night-time entertainment.

Another York community, Kensington, has homes from the $160,000s. Kensington is in picturesque Red Lion, PA and is just minutes from I-83. Conveniences such as shopping, restaurants and recreation are all close by.

Fields of Broad Springs is also a popular York community. Priced from the $220,000s, it is located in the rolling hills of Glen Rock and features an enclave of single-family homes. All are just a quick drive to I-83, shopping, dining, entertainment, recreation and more.

No matter which community you choose, you will have ease of mind knowing this is a great market to buy in! For more details, contact Barb DiBrito at 717-368-9831. Here’s to 2014!
