Construction Manager
LOCATION: Southern York and Frederick, MD area

The Construction Manager position manages all aspects of the home building process according to Keystone Custom Homes quality standards while adhering to budget, maintaining the construction schedule and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. Additional responsiblity for completing service and warranty work in the region. Successful candidates will have exemplary work ethic, character and integrity. 

Desired Skills & Experience

A Bachelors degree, Business Management, Construction Management, or related field, required. Must be highly organized and have a strong attention to details. OSHA 10 Hr., preferred.


Part-Time Sales Associate/Greeter
LOCATION: Central PA and Northern MD

Keystone Custom Homes, homebuilder in Central PA and northern MD, is seeking part-time, weekend sales associates in our Adams County, PA and Frederick County, MD areas. The ideal candidate will interact well with the public and represent our company in a professional manor.

Desired Skills & Experience

This position serves as a greeter to incoming prospects which includes touring the home with them, providing information and ultimately setting appointments for our sales team members. Must be flexible with location as the model you are assigned to could change weekly based on our coverage needs. The nature of this position is strictly for weekend coverage of a model home. Position consists of an hourly wage.

New Home Advisor
LOCATION: King of Prussia area, Howard and Montgomery Counties in Maryland

Civil Engineer
LOCATION: Lancaster, PA

Keystone
Custom Homes, 3 time winner of the “Best Builder Award” is looking for a Civil Engineer to be part of their Land Team. The ideal candidate must have the ability to accurately, efficiently and timely prepare designs for house
locations, grades, driveways, utilities, beams, foundations, retaining walls, septic systems and on lot storm water management facilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for managing the survey associated with the layout of homes, grades, driveways, septic systems, wells, utilities and pinning of footings. Also responsible for the preparations of as-built surveys as needed and the calculation of survey points/coordinates.
  • Responsible for the preparation and sealing of Building Permit Plans, including the setting of grades/elevations, driveway designs, utility designs, earthwork analysis and drainage designs.
  • Responsible for the preparation and sealing of designs for retaining walls, beams, foundations, septic systems, on-lot storm water management facilities and other facilities as needed.
  • Coordination with the construction team to ensure that the lots are being constructed in accordance with the Building Permit plans and for providing engineering oversight for the construction team should problems arise in the field.
  • Daily monitoring and coordination of jobs released for permits and layout.
  • Review of Zoning Ordinances, Subdivision and Land Development Ordinances, Building Codes and storm water Management Ordinances.
  • Preparation of lot plots, plot plans, house fit analysis and other drawings using ACAD.

Qualifications:


Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engineering, field surveying and ACAD with another developer, builder, contractor, excavation or engineering/surveying firm. Must have a Professional Engineer’s license in the State of Pennsylvania and must be willing to obtain a Professional Engineer’s license in the State of Maryland. Must be detail and results oriented and ability to run multiple projects concurrently.

Engineering Technician
LOCATION: Lancaster, PA

Keystone Custom Homes, 3 time winner of the “Best Builder Award” is looking for an Engineering Technician to be part of their Land Team. The ideal candidate must have the ability to accurately establish house locations, set grades, grade driveways, design utilities, in an efficient and timely manner. The candidate must also have field surveying experience and the ability to prepare lot plots, plot plans.

Responsibilities include:

  • Survey - Layout of homes, grades, driveways, septic systems, wells, utilities, pinning of footings and the calculation of points/coordinates as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of Building Permit Plans, including the setting of grades/elevations, driveway designs, utility designs, earthwork analysis and drainage designs.
  • Assist in the design of retaining walls, beams, foundations, septic systems, on-lot storm water management facilities and other facilities as needed.
  • Assist with the coordination with the construction team to ensure that the lots are being constructed in accordance with the Building Permit plans and assist the construction team in the resolution of site related issues as they arise.
  • Daily monitoring and coordination of jobs released for permits and layout.
  • Review of Zoning Ordinances, Subdivision and Land Development Ordinances, Building Codes and Storm water Management Ordinances.
  • Preparation of lot plots, plot plans, house fit analysis and other drawings using ACAD.

Marketing Intern
LOCATION: Lancaster, PA

Motivated and organized intern needed to assist the Marketing Team. Social minded with solid writing skills and desire to learn in a hands-on setting. Giving a fresh perspective and creative ideas, this role will be instrumental in increasing social media presence and gaining visibility for the Keystone Custom Homes brand.

Intern will be a real contributor to the marketing efforts of Keystone Custom Homes. Responsibilities include creating and scheduling social posts, as well as writing long-form copy for blogs, whitepapers, etc. Other tasks include assisting with event coordination, keeping the website up to date, and administrative duties.

This internship is a great opportunity to build a professional portfolio. The position is unpaid, but gas reimbursement is available. Student must register the internship for credit. Scheduling can be flexible based on student’s schedule, but within normal business hours (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm).

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create and schedule content for the following platforms:
    • Facebook
    • Instagram
    • Blog
  • Create print materials (flyers, whitepapers, etc.)
  • Assist in event planning and execution
  • Perform a website audit
  • Contribute to Marketing Team meetings
