Civil CAD Designer
LOCATION: Remote
The ideal candidate would have experience in land development engineering and would have the ability to site residential home locations, design lot grading and prepare plot plans for building permit applications.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Prepare residential plot plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D. This includes setting grades/elevations, driveway designs, utility designs and earthwork analysis.
  2. Prepare overall grading plans for an entire community, perform earthwork calculations and adjust grading for earthwork balance as needed.
  3. Follow the Engineering Team’s CAD standards and procedures to ensure deliverables are prepared with quality and consistency in mind.

Desired Skills & Experience
1.    Minimum 3 years of work experience in Civil Engineering with an engineering/surveying firm, developer, builder, contractor or excavation company.

2.    AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is required.

3.    Must be detailed, results oriented and have the ability to multi-task and run multiple projects concurrently. Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.

Job Summary
Responsible for extensive research to ensure the legal sale of the property and provide exceptional closing services to new home buyers.

Responsibilities:
•    Verify ownership, legal descriptions, and restrictions by analyzing liens, maps, public records, leases, plat books, agreements, surveys, and contracts
•    Review and process received property searches to check for real estate title defects or issues, such as claims, liens, mortgages, deeds, wills, or fraud
•    Work alongside a variety of industry professionals such as real estate agents, title insurance agents, escrow officers, closing agents, settlement agents, law firms, paralegals, and escrow companies throughout the closing process
•    Facilitate title search and prepare title abstract and title opinion

    Land Development Manager
    LOCATION: Frederick, Maryland
    OBJECTIVES: Coordination and supervision of Land Development construction activities in accordance with approved plans, budgets, contracts, and schedules.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1.    Inspections of land development construction activities to ensure compliance with the approved plans, compliance with land development regulations, workmanship and construction schedules.

    2.    Bidding of site work and management of budgets.

    3.    Daily coordination of site contractors, construction staff, inspectors, utility companies and consultants.

    4.    Scheduling of Erosion & Sedimentation control inspections and filing of reports.

    POSITION SUMMARY
    Guide Keystone Custom Homes’ clients through the selection process and exceed buyer expectations by being courteous, professional, and knowledgeable.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

    1.    Walk clients through the entire homebuilding process from structural design of their home to interior design of the home within established timeframes
    2.    Collaborate with operations, New Home Advisors, and production to meet deadlines and satisfy client needs

    Assistant Construction Manager
    LOCATION: York County, PA; Harrisburg, PA
    POSITION SUMMARY
    Assist the Builder with managing the overall quality of construction and ensuring the timely completion of new homes in accordance with established budgets, policies and procedures. Through the training and guidance of the Builder become proficient in every phase of the construction process and be promoted to Construction Manager within a year.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Scheduling
      • Assist the Builder in monitoring and maintaining the construction schedule for each home. 
      • Assist the Builder in ensuring the delivery of all homes in accordance with the construction schedule and established closing dates.
  • Materials Management
      • Assist the builder in all aspects of materials management. 
      • Assist with managing the delivery, storage and installation of all materials in accordance with established company policies and procedures in order to minimize damage and theft.
      • Inspect and count delivered materials to ensure they match the appropriate purchase orders.
      • Keep accurate records of all materials and report any variances to the Builder.
      • Assist in maintaining proper documentation of supplier performance to include problems, issues and communication.
  • Trade Partner Management
      • Participate in developing cooperative, mutually supportive partnerships with all trade partners
      • Understand the established scopes of work, schedules, checklists and quality standards, and assist the Builder in obtaining 100% completion of all work.
  • Safety Standards
      • Understand the company’s safety standards as well as OSHA and state standards and assist the Builder with ensuring compliance by all site personnel.
      • Assist with monitoring job sites daily and address apparent safety issues immediately.
      • Assist in ensuring any job site accidents are properly handled, documented and reported in accordance with the company’s established procedures.
  • Job Site Management
      • Understand all job site rules, regulations and policies and assist with their enforcement.
      • Assist in ensuring the proper handling of all company tools and supplies as well as rental items.
      • Maintain the cleanliness of all homes under construction daily according to established standards.
  • Quality Control
      • Understand the company’s quality control standards and assist in their enforcement.
      • Assist the Builder in conducting daily quality control inspections on all homes under construction to ensure trade partner work meets established quality standards and to ensure construction is compliant with published plans.
      • Assist the Builder with completion of the construction checklists (i.e., framing, slab, etc.)

    OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • At the request of the Builder, meet with designated county officials to conduct required inspections.
    • Maintain knowledge of all applicable building codes, zoning ordinances and other legal restrictions.

    Home Care Technician
    LOCATION: Lancaster County, PA; Montgomery County, PA; Frederick, MD
    POSITION SUMMARY
    Represent Keystone Custom Homes to our customers via phone and in person. Assist in remedying any Customer Service and Warranty issues that may arise. Manage all aspects of the customer care process according to Keystone Custom Homes’ quality standards while maintaining open communication with the Home Care Manager, using hands on skills to complete warrantable items and achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Material Management
      • Manage and care for all tools and materials provided by KCH.
      • Follow all safety guidelines for all tools and materials. 
      • Track materials used and have them replenished as needed by notifying the HCM.
      • Maintain maintenance on company vehicles. Oil Change every 5k miles. Vans are always to be clean both inside and outside.
  • Trade Partner Management
      • Develop cooperative, mutually supportive relationships with all trade partners. 
      • Ensure trade partners understand and adhere to established scopes of work, schedules, quality standards and KCH’s warranty.
      • Utilize proper management techniques to ensure conflicts with trade partners do not occur.
      • Assist with recruiting trade partners not supplied by I/O.
      • Ensure Proper communication, direction and support is provided to all new trade partners regarding the company’s warranty policies and procedures.
      • Solicit feedback from trade partners on methods of improving processes, systems, materials and techniques
  • Maintain Safety Standards
      • Serve as an on-site example by complying with all established safety standards.
      • Ensure all site personnel comply fully with the company’s safety standards as well as with OSHA standards.
      • Ensure all job site accidents are properly handled and documented.
  • Quality Control
      • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s warranty standards and systems within the Keystone Limited One Year Warranty.
      • Assist QCM in drilling down and finding root cause of reoccurring defects.
  • Homeowner Relations
      • Maintain a courteous, professional relationship with all homeowners.
      • Ensure homeowners are notified and up to date on the status of any outstanding items that need to be completed.
      • The utmost respect and care should be taken when working in or around a customer’s home. It should be left cleaner and neater then when you arrived.
      • Respond immediately to customer’s questions or concerns.
      • Discuss and set expectations of 3rd party survey with homeowners. Customer satisfaction is paramount to the success of the Home Care Technician and Keystone Custom Homes.
      • The 3rd Party survey is our report card. The Home Care Technician is an integral part of delivering a high-quality home along with the finest of customer experiences while relaying to your clients the importance of completing this survey. 
  • Leadership and Management
      • Through proper planning and organization, minimize the occurrence of crisis situations.
      • Effectively prioritize responsibilities and action (“first things first”). 
      • Maintain a professional relationship with all homeowners, inspectors, trade partners and company personnel.
