Meet the Team: Alan Banks

Congratulations to Alan Banks on his 11-year work anniversary! We are grateful for the energy and leadership he brings to our Carolinas team each day. Learn more about Alan’s experience and the impact he continues to make.

What is something you are most proud of during your time with Keystone?
The Carolinas team has grown from just 15 lots a few years ago as Keystone’s first community outside of PA and MD to now being active in 10 communities, offering homebuyers in the Carolinas great floorplans customized their way.

What has been your biggest takeaway from a milestone HOPE Trip with Keystone?
The work we do building great homes is changing lives far beyond our own communities. Thomas, an entrepreneur I met in Choma, Zambia, has the ideas, drive, and determination to succeed. Through HOPE, the cycle of generational poverty in his family was broken, and today he owns a thriving metal recycling company.

If you could build any floorplan what would it be and why? 
The Kipling floorplan! As an empty nester, this home is designed with my lifestyle in mind. I wish I lived in a Kipling today!

What are you most looking forward to as we grow in the Carolinas?
Building on the strong team we have in place in the Carolinas while continuing to create dream homes, and potentially bringing a Keystone community to the Carolina coast.

What is your favorite part of your job?
Mentoring others, envisioning what’s possible from where we are today, and helping team members achieve it.

Fun fact about you!
I have hiked the Great Wall of China, explored the bottom of the Grand Canyon, and traveled across Patagonia.
