The Sebastian Farmhouse

The Sebastian Farmhouse featured in our community of Devon Creek in Lancaster, PA received 7 awards at the 2022 Lancaster Parade of Homes! These included Best Exterior, Best Interior, Best Bath, Best Kitchen, Best Decorated, Best Landscaping, and Best of Show.

Best Exterior

Our Sebastian floorplan made its debut as a model home this year and features the Farmhouse elevation option. This model home is a darker take on the Farmhouse trend with our Misty Shadow siding, board & batten, and trim with copper spouting accents. The porch area is the perfect size for a bench or table and chairs while enjoying the shade. On the side of the model is a flagstone patio featuring a decorative pergola, perfect for outdoor dining!

Best Interior

Inside the Sebastian, you are greeted by many unique design elements such as the brick veneer accent Foyer wall and the Study with built-in shelving. The home opens up into the Family Room with a Roosevelt gas fireplace and continued brick veneer. Another showstopper of the home includes the Owner’s Suite with a window bench flowing into the Serenity Bath. The bedrooms feature elements such as wallpaper accents, pink herringbone tile, and our children’s playhouse option.

Best Bath

Our Sebastian Farmhouse features one of our most popular back packages – the Serenity Bath – featuring a freestanding tub, tiled shower, and double vanity. This bath is the first model to showcase our new azul herringbone tile as both a backsplash behind the vanity and wall shower tile. Our white hexagon tile is featured in this Serenity Bath and is displayed beautifully with all of the natural light.

Best Kitchen

Our Classic Kitchen is showcased in this model home and features our navy New Haven cabinets with gold hardware. The pantry provides extra cabinet and counter space with a continuation of the navy cabinets and window for more natural light. This Classic Kitchen features a gas range and overhead hood along with a microwave and other stainless steel appliances. The farmhouse sink accents the 11-foot island. Right off the kitchen is a Dining Area with Debut Graphite light fixture and access to the patio.

Best Decorating

We are honored to work with great interior designers who beautifully staged this Sebastian Farmhouse. All of our staged furnishings are from Interiors Home Lancaster and arranged by our Interior Designers.

We asked our Designer about the inspiration for decor in this model home: “The New Haven navy cabinets set the design tone for this model. We built our crisp color palette around it. Using soft neutrals combined with navy and plenty of texture created modern farmhouse touches, though less rustic and a bit more contemporary. Some of the textures that inspired us throughout the design process include, painted brick, copper, gold, natural wood, geometric tiles, and dramatic wallpaper.“

Best Landscaping

Now more than ever, we really value the curb appeal and outdoor living aspect of our homes. The Sebastian Farmhouse does not disappoint, as every foot of space is utilized for beautiful landscaping or a place to enjoy the outdoors. The wrap-around porch is a great space to admire the flowerbeds and wonderful surrounding community.

Best in Show
