General responsibilities include but are not limited to - Maintain, inspect, repair and/or replace any equipment related to the property, buildings, apartments, common area facilities, and grounds. Is additionally responsible for supervising property maintenance assistant personnel, and subcontractors, when applicable. To ensure that health and safety procedures are adhered to, develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule, set up shop and handle ordering of supplies & equipment.

Qualified candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience in apartment maintenance and the following certifications CAMT (Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician), HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning), CPO (Certified Pool Operator).  A candidate with additional experience and the desire to earn these certifications in a short time may be considered.  Knowledge in plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general building trades is required. On call availability including weekends is a must. Candidate must own the basic tools to perform apartment/building maintenance and have a reliable vehicle.
